Optic

MODULAR TYPEFACE + IDENTITY + COLLATERAL

Optic is a modular typeface and identity. The logo structure references the earliest form of corrective lenses, rivet spectacles, and the modular letterforms are built from the basic anatomy of eyewear, the temples and lens shape. These were further developed out into a larger identity for Optic: an Exhibition of Eyewear. This gallery exhibit is meant to document the structural and sculptural history of eyewear.
